Sunday Mornings

Sunday morning is the time in the week when our entire community gathers in-person to worship and remember God, together. We believe gathering in-person shapes us as the body of Jesus Christ. Our service centers around two key practices: Word and Table. We encounter God through His Word read and preached, at His Table through bread and wine. We also strive to be present to one another as we gather and share the life of the Holy Spirit through prayer, confessing, passing the peace, and singing together. In all, we gather for one reason: to worship Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.

Liturgy

We recognize that if an Anglican liturgical service is new to you, it will feel different. For this reason, we’ve put together a brief guide to our Sunday worship service, which explains the gospel shape of the service. Download it HERE, or grab a copy when you visit from our welcome table in the front lobby.

Children

We love children and all that they bring to our worship! Here’s a few things to know if you have children.

  • Kids are most welcome to join our service. Right before the sermon each week, we have a time with children when kids are invited to the front for a short kids’ lesson with Pastor Preston and prayer. Then, they are sent off to All Saints Kids.
  • All Saints Kids takes place during the sermon and middle portion of the service. This is a time for kids of all ages to gather, worship and learn in ways kids learn best. This time is led by trained adult leaders who use the curriculum from Godly Play during our time together. Kids then return to the main service in time for Communion. Read more about All Saints Kids HERE.
  • We have a family room at the back of the sanctuary, where parents can take kids if they need some extra space during the service. Feel free to go back and use this room at any time during worship.

Communion

Each week, we celebrate Communion together. This is the primary response in our service. We sing, pray, hear the Word, proclaim our faith, confess our sins, pass the peace, and it all leads us to the Table of Jesus Christ. We believe this is a practice of union with God and one another, where God nourishes us and blesses us each week.

All who are baptized believers in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are welcome to receive, children and adults. We believe Jesus nourishes us through His word and sacrament, no matter the age. If you do not want to receive, you can still come forward and cross your arms, and we’ll pray a blessing over you. You can also receive prayer from our intercessory prayer team in the lobby, during this time of the service.

Coffee

Coffee and refreshments available in Magee Hall, behind the Sanctuary. This is a great time to connect with others and meet someone new.
