Belong & Grow

Life following Jesus Christ is much more than Sunday mornings. We prioritize the same things the early church valued in Acts 2 in our gatherings: the apostles’ teaching, the breaking of bread, and prayer. We believe these actions form the backbone of community life in the church, where we can know one another, and be known, as children of God.

Here are some ways beyond Sunday morning worship that you can grow in faith and deepen in community at All Saints:

Join a Serve Team

Why join a serve team? First: it helps us all learn to walk in the ways of Jesus Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve. And second, it is the best way to meet people and grow in a sense of belonging in a community.

Whether you are young or old, new to All Saints or been around a long time, there are opportunities for everyone. You can view our Serve Card HERE and reach out to office@allsaintsmontrose.org with interest or questions.

Wednesdays: A Day of Prayer

Midday Prayer & Communion: 11:00-11:30am

Each Wednesday we gather in the small chapel beside our Sanctuary to pray. We  follow short liturgies from the Book of Common Prayer, read and listen to Scripture  together, and pray for one another, the church, and the world. We celebrate The Lord’s Supper together. The door is always open.

Association of Montrose Churches (AMC) Prayer Gathering: 12:00-1:00pm

At noon on Wednesdays a group from several churches gathers at All Saints to pray for Montrose and the wider world.

Prayer & Communion at The Homestead (1819 Pavilion Drive): 1:00pm-1:30pm

We also host a gathering similar to the 11:00am service at The Homestead Montrose, an independent & assisted living community. If you live at or near the Homestead, you are most welcome to join us in the library at the Homestead at 1:00 on Wednesdays.

Weekly Bible Studies & Community Groups

There are several groups who meet throughout the week to study Scripture, pray, and grow in the life of faith together. Each group has its own flavor and style. Reach out to the contacts listed to learn more about these groups. If you have trouble, contact office@allsaintsmontrose.org and we’ll get you connected. Guests are always welcome.
